SEA extends a warm welcome to Phil Wright and Terry Seamark — two very accomplished engineers in the field of design and product development, with combined experience covering most aspects of mechanical engineering.
Phil worked for many years in the steel fabrication industry, including high-tech steel cutting and processing equipment, and later ran his own successful company. Terry\u2019s expertise lies in precision machined parts, coupled with a vast knowledge of mechanical engineering — he too ran his own successful engineering company. In the late nineties, both joined the largest independent construction, piling and foundation company in the UK, advising production engineers and running the Research and Development department.
Their innovations span piling design, construction and manufacture; piling reinforcement and connecting systems; thermally efficient foundation systems; geothermal and general ground drilling systems; piling rig design; advanced off-site manufacture of wall and floor systems; and waste treatment using vitrification.
During recent months Phil and Terry have been instrumental in the design of our new state-of-the-art drilling bits, micro piles, soil nails, rock bolts and other construction consumables. Here\u2019s wishing them both a great future at SEA!
