This was SEA-Tech\u2019s first outing to the GeoDrilling Exhibition in Peterborough on the 7th and 8th of June, and with our products designed for this specific market, expectations were high. We were not disappointed!
The SEA-Tech stand was positioned in the outside display area with distribution partners TA Drilling, and with fine weather there was no shortage of interested visitors. It was also the first showing of our ingenious Carrot Anchor, designed and engineered in-house, which created a great deal of interest. The Carrot is an extremely versatile anchor used in applications from road signs and lightweight buildings through to solar panel fields — installed by hand for the small anchors and light drilling rigs for the larger. Being grout-free, wastage is kept to a minimum with this environmentally friendly product.
Positive feedback was also received for our mini piles and the all-new soil nail displacement drill bit. SEA-Tech\u2019s designers have again taken an existing product and improved it: displacing the soil offers greater structural stability, and the key created by the bit — which deposits grout through the head as it moves through the soil — increases compression and tension capacity. With reduced skin friction from the new design, faster installation is also achieved. Quite simply a stronger, faster and cleaner product!
